Toyota was the talk of the town this week as it announced its electric vehicle development strategy while also introducing 15 concepts that provide a glimpse into what is to come from Toyota electric vehicles.
No doubt about it, the future seems bright and there are some concepts that we cannot wait to see in production form.
Perhaps the most impressive model introduced this week from Toyota is the new Toyota electric truck. Sitting between the Toyota Tacoma and Toyota tundra it terms of size, the short bed double cab electric truck has a stunning look.
Toyota has said that it might explore the electric pickup segment, and this would be the perfect model to do so.
Toyota also unveiled a stunning supercar which could preview the new Toyota electric flagship. Toyota also introduced a wide range of new electric sport utility vehicles which will be joining the new Toyota bZ4x when it arrives on the market later this year.
Toyota plans to invest $70 billion by 2030 in its electric vehicle strategy and will introduced 30 electrified models by the end of the decade.
