Toyota has just announced pricing for the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra as well as giving a detailed description of all of the versions that will be offered. There will be almost 2 dozen model and trim configurations available in the new 2022 Tundra lineup and owners will enjoy a wide range of improvements on the redesigned full-size Toyota truck.
“We’ve designed the capabilities, features, and styling of the 2022 Toyota Tundra to reward loyal Toyota truck fans with a pick-up that’s worthy of replacing their current Tundra. At the same time, we’re confident that we’ve created a full-size pick-up sure to grab the attention of truck fans across Canada – regardless of what they’re driving now,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “With 23 models ready to order, and pricing that delivers a strong value proposition, we look forward to helping more Canadians welcome a Tundra into their lives.”
Every single 2022 Toyota Tundra will feature an all-new 3.5 L twin turbocharged six-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 389 hp and 479 pound-feet of torque in most versions. This engine helps the Tundra tow up to 12,000 pounds, and impressive improvement over the outgoing model. Even the base 2022 Tundra features 348 hp and 405 pound-feet of torque. Toyota also says the new Tundra features nearly 25% better fuel efficiency compared to the outgoing V-8 engine.
The 2022 Toyota Tundra will be available in two body configurations including CrewMax and Double-Cab. It will also be offered in three different bed lengths depending on the model including a 5.5-foot bed, a 6.5-foot bed, and an 8.1-foot bed.
It will come in multiple versions with a brand-new interior touchscreen, push-button start, LED headlamps and tail lights, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, and TRD versions including TRD Sport TRD Off-Road.
The all-new Toyota Tundra goes on sale on December 3. Give us a call today to learn more.
